The acquisitions form part of Select’s ongoing UK expansion strategy, focused on strengthening its presence in key regional markets through carefully chosen locations that reflect the group’s long-term growth ambitions.
Both locations will transition to the Select brand from launch, offering customers access to Select’s full Apple retail and service experience. The new stores will offer expert solutions for consumers and local businesses, while delivering the standard of care customers have come to expect from Select, including a free three-year warranty on key products.
The acquisitions further strengthen Select’s footprint in the Midlands and reinforce the Group’s commitment to the UK market.
Ciarán McCormack, Chief Executive Officer of Select Technology Group, stated:
"The acquisitions in Derby and Nottingham represent a significant milestone in our UK growth strategy. We’ve been on an ambitious M&A journey since 2021, with this acquisition outlining the next step in growing the group."
McCormack continued:
’With over €300 million in group revenue last year and consistent year-on-year expansion, we remain committed to investing in locations that align operationally and present opportunities. These stores strengthen our ability to deliver a consistent, high-quality experience for consumers, and we look forward to welcoming both the teams and customers into the Select organisation.”
As part of the transaction, the teams from both locations will be integrated into Select Technology Group while the stores will be rebranded from launch.
Key highlights from the deal include:
- Select Technology Group is the only Apple Premium Partner, Apple Authorised Reseller and Apple Authorised Education Specialist in the UK and Ireland.
- Select Technology Group will rebrand all stores for launch.
- Select Technology Group will integrate KRCS teams, growing the business to 680 people in the UK and Ireland.
Select Technology Group is the UK and Ireland’s leading Apple Premium Partner with 50 retail locations and B2B and educational sector offerings, now across both countries.
