Apple has officially unveiled iPhone 17, introducing a new era of performance, design, and everyday functionality. The device comes equipped with the innovative Centre Stage front camera, a larger and brighter display with ProMotion, and the lightning-fast A19 chip, making it the most advanced standard iPhone yet.

The new iPhone 17 elevates mobile photography with its Centre Stage front camera, designed to deliver sharper selfies and smoother video calls. On the back, a 48MP Fusion Main camera with built-in 2x optical-quality Telephoto and an all-new 48MP Ultra Wide lens capture expansive scenes, macro detail, and cinematic clarity like never before.
The 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion offers brighter visuals, fluid scrolling, and immersive gaming — while Ceramic Shield 2 provides industry-leading durability with 3x stronger scratch resistance and reduced glare.
Performance is powered by the A19 chip, ensuring smooth multitasking, enhanced longevity, and pro-level processing speeds. Storage now starts at 256GB, with a 512GB option available, and customers can choose from five new colours: black, lavender, mist blue, sage, and white.
Advanced Camera System
The all-new Centre Stage front camera introduces the first square sensor on iPhone, expanding the field of view and delivering up to 18MP photo resolution. For the first time, users can capture landscape selfies while holding iPhone vertically, while AI-driven framing automatically adjusts for group shots.
iPhone 17 gets a new 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide camera, so users can capture a wider field of view and unique perspectives in more detail.
Video capture also gets a major boost: ultra-stabilised 4K HDR recording, Dual Capture with front and rear cameras, and seamless Centre Stage video framing in FaceTime and third-party apps.
On the rear, all three cameras are now 48MP, with the Main, Telephoto, and Ultra Wide offering sharper details, 4x higher resolution, and impressive macro performance. With next-generation Photographic Styles and the new Bright style in iOS 26, users can customise their shots in real time.
