With M6, Mac mini delivers up to 4x faster AI performance, 2x faster graphics and storage, and up to 40% faster CPU performance. Whether you’re tackling everyday tasks, creative projects or more demanding AI workflows, everything feels faster, smoother and more responsive.

For professionals who need even more power, Mac mini with M5 Pro takes performance further. It’s built to handle demanding workloads such as video production, game development and intensive creative workflows, while also making an excellent choice for business applications — whether it’s powering your main desktop or running as an always-on system.

Both Mac mini models feature Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6, along with upgraded 2.5Gb Ethernet and an optional 10Gb Ethernet connection. Combined with the latest macOS and Apple Intelligence, the new Mac mini delivers a powerful desktop experience without taking up much space.

Mac mini with the All-New M6. Small in Size, Big on Performance

Mac mini with M6 packs a lot of power into its compact design, making it well suited to everything from everyday productivity and creative projects to demanding AI workflows.

Its 12-core CPU adds two more cores than the previous generation, delivering fast and responsive performance across a wide range of tasks. The 12-core GPU also adds two cores and features Neural Accelerators in every core for the first time on Mac mini, delivering up to 4x faster AI performance and 2x faster graphics than Mac mini with M4.

The new Dual 16-core Neural Engine can deliver up to 2x faster performance than the previous generation, further boosting AI-related tasks. With 16GB of unified memory as standard, configurable up to 32GB, and memory bandwidth of up to 170GB/s, Mac mini with M6 is also built to handle multiple demanding tasks at once.

Mac mini with M5 Pro. Serious Pro Performance

Mac mini with M5 Pro packs serious professional performance into its compact desktop design, giving developers, creatives and other professionals the power to handle demanding workloads such as app development, video rendering, scientific simulations and more.

With up to an 18-core CPU and 20-core GPU, M5 Pro delivers fast multithreaded performance and advanced graphics capabilities, including enhanced shader cores and third-generation ray tracing for 3D design, VFX and game development.

Neural Accelerators built into each GPU core also provide a significant boost for AI workloads, making tasks such as photo and video upscaling and running larger diffusion models faster and more efficient.

Mac mini with M5 Pro supports up to 64GB of unified memory and 307GB/s of memory bandwidth, giving professionals the headroom to work with large AI models, complex 3D scenes, ProRes RAW footage and large datasets.

Despite its performance, Mac mini with M5 Pro remains quiet and energy efficient, making it a practical choice for demanding workflows that need to run continuously.

M5 Pro takes Mac mini to the next level with an up-to-20-core GPU featuring Neural Accelerators, faster unified memory and Thunderbolt 5, delivering the performance needed for demanding creative and technical workflows.

  • Up to 2.1x faster image processing in Affinity when compared to Mac mini with M2 Pro, and up to 1.5x faster than M4 Pro.

With M5 Pro, Mac mini delivers faster AI photo-upscaling performance in Topaz Photo when compared to the previous generation.

Flexible Connectivity for Every Setup

The new Mac mini with M6 and M5 Pro offers a wide range of connectivity options, including Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6 and 2.5Gb Ethernet, with 10Gb Ethernet available as an option.

Two front-facing USB-C ports and a headphone jack with support for high-impedance headphones make it easy to connect everyday accessories. Around the back, Mac mini with M6 features three Thunderbolt 4 ports, while M5 Pro models step up to three Thunderbolt 5 ports, alongside HDMI and Ethernet.

Thunderbolt 5 also allows multiple Mac mini systems to be connected for demanding AI workloads, including running larger models directly on device. New genlock support over USB-C provides precise synchronisation between displays and cameras, including iPhone 17 Pro.

Mac mini and the Environment

The new Mac mini has been designed with Apple’s environmental goals in mind, using recycled materials and renewable energy throughout its production. It contains 50% recycled material overall, including 100% recycled aluminium in the enclosure and 100% recycled rare earth elements in all magnets.

The electricity used to manufacture Mac mini comes from renewable sources such as wind and solar across the supply chain. Apple has also invested in renewable energy projects around the world to match the electricity customers use to power Mac mini.

As with other Apple products, Mac mini comes in 100% fibre-based paper packaging that can be easily recycled at home.
